Voozeo MCP frequently asked questions
Updated October 30, 2026
Voozeo MCP is a hosted service that turns an OpenAPI API or a set of documents into an MCP server for your AI assistant. These short answers cover the product, compatible AI clients, security and data, and plans.
About Voozeo MCP
What is Voozeo MCP?
Voozeo MCP builds and hosts MCP servers for you. You import an OpenAPI 3 file or documents, choose the tools to expose, and paste the server URL and key into your AI client. There is no server to deploy or maintain. See what is MCP.
What can I turn into an MCP server?
An API described in OpenAPI 3.0 or 3.1 (JSON or YAML), or documents in these formats: PDF, Word (.docx), Markdown, text. See OpenAPI to MCP and documents to MCP.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. For documents, you upload your files. For an API, your OpenAPI file is all you need: Voozeo generates the tools from it.
How do I get an account?
Sign-up is open to everyone and free, with no credit card. Click "Get started", enter your email address and a password, accept the terms and the privacy policy, then open the confirmation link sent to you, valid for 24 hours. For questions, use the contact page.
Compatible AI clients
Which AI clients work with Voozeo MCP?
Claude (claude.ai, Claude Desktop and Claude Code), ChatGPT, Cursor and VS Code, plus any MCP client that connects over HTTP. See Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and VS Code.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The server is hosted. You paste its URL, and sometimes its key, into your AI client.
Can the AI change my data?
Only if you let it. Tools that use POST, PUT, PATCH or DELETE are flagged as changing data, and you can disable any tool in the "Tools" tab. Expose only what the AI needs.
Security and data
Where is my data stored?
In the AWS eu-west-1 region (Ireland), in the European Union. Amazon Web Services is the only processor. Your data is tied to your workspace and is only accessible with your account. Your content is processed only to provide the service and is not used to train an AI.
Who can see my MCP key?
Only you. The key is shown once, when you create or regenerate it. Voozeo keeps only a fingerprint of it and cannot show it again. If the key is lost or leaks, regenerate it: the old key stops working immediately. See regenerating the key.
How are the secrets of my API protected?
The secret of your target API (key, token or password) is stored encrypted, can only be written and is never displayed again. The AI never sees it. Your MCP key is shown once; Voozeo keeps only a fingerprint of it, and you can regenerate it at any time. By default, the call log never contains arguments or results: the optional diagnostic mode, which you turn on server by server, keeps the masked content of its calls for 30 days. See target API and authentication.
Is my content used to train an AI?
No. Your specifications, documents and secrets are processed only to provide the service. Voozeo runs no language model on your content, and serves it only to the AIs connected with your key.
Can a document give orders to the AI?
A document can contain instructions that you did not write. Voozeo hands its text to the AI as data to consult, not as instructions to follow.
Does the Voozeo website track me?
No. The public website uses no cookie and no third-party tracker. It only counts visits and page views in aggregate, per day, with no IP address, no User-Agent and no identifier stored: no personal data is collected by this measurement. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track (DNT) signal, the website measures nothing at all.
Plans and limits
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan includes 1 server, 1,000 MCP calls per month, 5 MB of document text per server and 50 active tools per server. See pricing.
How do I move to a paid plan?
Request the plan from the "Plans" screen of the app. Voozeo validates the request within 1 business day, then your workspace switches to the plan. There is no online payment: Voozeo sends an invoice and you pay by bank transfer. Prices exclude VAT.
What happens when my monthly quota is reached?
Further calls are not executed and your API is not called. The AI receives a tool error that states when the quota resets. Service resumes on the 1st of the next month (UTC), or sooner if your plan changes. See quotas and plans.
How does annual billing work, and what is the founders offer?
Paid plans can be billed annually: you pay for 10 months and get 2 months free, for example €90 / year excl. VAT a year for Starter. The "Monthly / Annual" switch of the pricing page shows the annual price of each plan. The founders offer gives the first 50 paying customers 50% off for life. Voozeo applies annual billing and the discount on the invoice when it validates your request: mention annual billing in the message of the request.
