Connect your documents to an AI with an MCP server

Voozeo MCP turns your documents into a hosted MCP server: upload PDF, Word, Markdown or text files, and the connected AI searches and reads them to answer with your own information instead of generalities.
How it works
- Create a server and open its "Sources" tab.
- Choose "Add documents" and select your files. They are sent one after the other; a failure does not stop the next ones.
- When a document shows "Ready", the AI can use it.
- Paste the server URL and the MCP key into your AI client. See how to connect your AI.
You do not write any code. Two tools, search_documents and read_document, are added to the server automatically and do not count toward your plan's tool limit.

The content must match the extension: a renamed file is refused (UNSUPPORTED_FILE_TYPE). See documents and search.
What the AI can do with them

search_documents | Keyword search (BM25) across all documents. It returns the best passages with the document name, its identifier and a score. |
read_document | Reads a document from its identifier, slice by slice, until the end. |
Each document is also exposed as an MCP resource for the clients that can display it. The search is a keyword search, not a search by meaning: use your readers' words in your documents. See search tips.
What Voozeo does not do
- No optical character recognition: a PDF that only contains page images fails with
NO_TEXT_EXTRACTED. Export it again with selectable text, or convert it to text or Markdown. - No language model runs on your content, and your documents are not used to train an AI.
- The text of a document is handed to the AI as data to consult, never as instructions to follow.
Limits by plan
Text extracted from your documents is added up for one server.
